The Imbrie Team


The Imbrie Team, associated with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Real Estate Advisors®, is a significant force in facilitating acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate for investors. Their objective is to be the best provider of high quality inventory while providing their clients with expert financial analysis. With affiliations in the nation's major markets, they deliver a national perspective built on local market research and expertise.

The Imbrie Team - Gary Imbrie , Ryan Imbrie and Kris Imbrie - serves Sperry Van Ness® in Portland , Oregon , specializing in the sale of retail investment properties in the Oregon and Washington market. With extensive commercial real estate experience, the Imbrie Team has helped maximize returns for both their listing and buying side clients. The team takes customer service seriously - they travel extensively to investigate and evaluate investment properties, as well as analyze markets and properties that are undervalued to deliver those values to their clients. Both Gary and Ryan are members of ICSC.

Gary Imbrie serves as senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness®. Prior to joining, he was with Marcus & Millichap, for nine years, as senior investment associate where he was a sales leader and a mentor to new brokers. Previously, he was the president of Norita, an American subsidiary of a Japanese manufacturing company that marketed precision optics in the United States . He holds two laser and optical patents. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Oregon and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Washington . He served as a U.S. Naval flight officer from 1967 to 1972.

Ryan Imbrie serves as an associate for Sperry Van Ness®. With five years of international finance experience, he provides financial analysis, marketing and software expertise. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness®, he served the Xerox Corporation as senior analyst responsible for managing a $160 million annual budget, and represented the company as a financial liaison in local union negotiations. Ryan assists investors in all aspects of a transaction including client representation, deal negotiation and financial analysis. Ryan earned a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University

Kris Imbrie a licensed real estate broker who serves the team as an executive assistant/office manager, assists with escrow management, research, data management and organization. Prior to 2000 when she joined Gary in commercial real estate, she was a registered occupational therapist. Kris obtained a bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster and the University of Southern California .
